Hello There & Welcome!
We are the wanderlusty Germans. A german couple with a passion for travel and discovering new places. Weekdays we are in our corporate capes working hard on chasing the next goal and on weekends jumping on a plane/ in the car and exploring the world.
Many years back we ventured outside the borders of Germany for the first time and tasted the sweetness of exploring new countries, meeting new people and enjoying delicious food.
Eventually we had to learn, that our little time for preparation meant also we would waste valuable time at the beginning of the trip googling for the things to do, searching for "most instagrammable places" and then creating our own list based on our location and mobility. Occassionally this would lead to stress or frustration as you can imagine.

With that in mind, we had the idea for Wanderlusty Germans. Provide brief and concise travel plans which are intended to get you started in your new destination, so you can explore from there.
These travel plans meant to kickstart your trip in a new location & give you some ideas on where to start. From their you can create your own journey, maybe it’s based on something you saw on your first walk there or based on the waiter’s recommendation at dinner the night before. At the end it is not about checking a viral list but getting started and creating your own as you go. Because your memories and experiences will define your life.
For the creation of these travel plans we draw on our own experiences as well as seek input from all our friends around the globe. While our main focus is on brief travel plans, you will also see some special editions which could be a trip on it's own. Like our plan for Banff and Jasper National Park which was one of our favourite locations.
We hope to help many people around the world to stop wasting any precious time on their vacation and start exploring and making memories right away.
